Terms of service

By using EduStation (edustationyt.com) you agree to these terms. They are written to be read, so please do.

What EduStation is

EduStation offers free study tools, guides and opinions for JEE aspirants, created by Arnav Makani. It is not affiliated with the National Testing Agency (NTA), JoSAA, any IIT, NIT or IIIT, or any coaching institute or publisher.

Estimates are estimates

The rank predictor, the marks-for-percentile calculator and every rank or college range on this site are estimates based on past patterns. Actual results depend on each year's candidate pool, paper difficulty and official normalisation. Do not rely on them alone for decisions about admissions, counselling or dropping a year.

Exam dates marked “official” follow NTA announcements. Dates marked “expected” are estimates. Always confirm dates and rules on the official websites, such as jeemain.nta.nic.in and jeeadv.ac.in.

Reviews and prices

Book and coaching reviews are personal opinions from real study experience. They are never paid placements. Prices shown are approximate and change often, so check the seller's listing before you buy.

Some book links are Amazon affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases, at no extra cost to you.

Free PDFs and content

The PDFs, text and tools on this site are free for your personal study. Please share the link rather than the files, and don't resell or republish them. If you're a teacher and want to use them with a class, just email us.

Your toolkit data

Toolkit data is stored only in your browser. You are responsible for keeping backups. We can't recover data that is lost when browser storage is cleared, because we never had a copy.

No warranty

The site and its tools are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We work to keep everything accurate and available, but we can't promise that the site will be error-free or always online. To the extent the law allows, EduStation is not liable for losses that come from using, or being unable to use, the site.

Links to other sites

We link to other websites for your convenience. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content or policies.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
