EduStation

Privacy policy

Last updated 11 October 2026

EduStation (edustationyt.com) is run by Arnav Makani. This page explains what information the site handles, where it goes, and what you can do about it. The short version: almost everything stays on your own device.

Data that stays on your device

The study toolkit and the mock test save your syllabus progress, study streak, focus sessions, mock scores, mock test attempts and answers, flashcards, notes and countdowns in your browser's local storage. Your light or dark theme choice is saved the same way. None of this is sent to us or to anyone else.

Clearing your browser's site data deletes it. Use “Download backup” in the toolkit if you want to keep a copy or move it to another device.

Rank predictor

All rank calculations run inside your browser. If you copy a result link, it contains only the numbers you entered, and you decide who sees it. Rank card images are created on your device and are only shared if you choose to share them.

Newsletter

If you join the newsletter, the name and email address you type are sent through FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), a form-forwarding service, to aaedustation@gmail.com. We use them only to send the newsletter. We never sell or rent them.

To unsubscribe, or to have your details deleted, reply to any newsletter or email aaedustation@gmail.com. If you are under 18, please sign up only with a parent or guardian's permission.

Amazon affiliate links

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. When you click a “Buy on Amazon” link, Amazon may set cookies to credit the purchase to EduStation. That happens on Amazon's side and is covered by Amazon's privacy notice. It never changes the price you pay.

YouTube videos

The home page shows thumbnails of EduStation videos, loaded from YouTube's image server (i.ytimg.com), and the channel picture, loaded from yt3.ggpht.com. Loading these images sends YouTube standard request data, such as your IP address and browser type.

A video player loads only when you click play. It uses YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com), and once a video plays, Google's privacy policy applies to it.

Cookies, analytics and ads

EduStation itself sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts. Site files and fonts are served from edustationyt.com. The only third-party content is the YouTube images and players described above.

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested) to keep the site secure and running. These logs are not used to profile you.

If we ever add analytics or ads, this page will be updated first and will say exactly what they collect.

Offline app

When you visit, the site may store copies of its own pages, styles, fonts and icons in your browser so the toolkit works offline and loads faster. These copies contain only site files, never your personal data.

Links to other sites

Links to YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, Amazon, NTA and other sites take you to services with their own privacy policies.

Your rights

You can ask what newsletter data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it at any time by emailing aaedustation@gmail.com.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page with a new “last updated” date.
